It fit my job perfectly. The thing I really like is the 3 raised anchor points to the house. They pretty much fit my vinyl siding perfectly so that while the vinyl siding is sloped, there is room behind the box for it to be vertical despite the slope. Also, there are enough entry ports to handle having it cover the lines coming out of the house and having the rest come in via the "sealed" foam on the bottom. Plus, there are more ports I didn't use. FYI: the ports are not "knock-out" but you have to cut or dremel them, etc. I don't consider this a negative since it probably provides a better seal; this is just informational for potential buyers.

I wanted a weatherproof box to to cap the exterior of a large-bore conduit hole coming through an outside wall, to route many stiff shielded CAT6 cables from an outdoor tower to interior equipment. The CFG-1000XL had numerous entry ports and interior room to spare, and plenty extra of both for future expansion.
